Resolving disputes or clarifying project scope
Marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit written consent
Sharing with third parties (except as required by law)
Creating content for other clients
Any purpose outside the scope of your service agreement
All recordings are stored in secure, encrypted cloud storage
Access is restricted to me only (Meredith L. McGuire McConn)
Recordings are labeled with your name and date for easy reference
Storage complies with industry-standard security practices
Encrypted transmission during upload
Password-protected storage accounts
Regular security audits and updates
Secure backup systems
Limited access protocols
Recordings kept for the duration of your service agreement
Recordings retained for 12 months after final deliverable is provided
Extended retention available upon written request
Recordings automatically deleted 12 months after project completion
Earlier deletion available upon written request
Recordings retained for duration of subscription plus 12 months

OVERVIEW
The Experiential Writing Studio (TXWS), operated by Meredith L. McGuire McConn of Oceans Enterprises Consulting, LLC, records all client interviews and conversations as an essential part of our service delivery process. This Recording Consent & Release Form outlines your rights and our practices regarding these recordings.
1. PURPOSE OF RECORDING
TXWS records all interviews and conversations with clients for the following purposes:
To ensure accuracy in capturing your story, voice, and specific details
To reference your exact words and phrasing when creating content
To review complex information or technical details discussed during interviews
To maintain quality control and consistency in content creation
To protect both parties by having a clear record of what was discussed
Recording is essential to TXWS's experiential writing process and is non-negotiable. Without recording, we cannot provide our services.
2. WHAT WILL BE RECORDED
The following interactions will be recorded:
Initial consultation calls (if applicable)
All scheduled interviews for content creation
Brand storytelling sessions
Project planning discussions
Feedback and revision conversations
Any other verbal communication related to your project or service
NOTIFICATION:
You will be notified at the beginning of each call or meeting that recording is in progress. By remaining on the call after notification, you consent to being recorded.
3. HOW RECORDINGS ARE USED
PERMITTED USES:
Your recordings will be used solely for the following purposes:
Creating your content (articles, brand narratives, website copy, etc.)
Verifying facts, quotes, and details you provided
Ensuring accuracy in representing your voice and story
Training and quality assurance purposes (internal TXWS use only)
Resolving disputes or clarifying project scope
PROHIBITED USES:
Your recordings will NOT be used for:
Marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit written consent
Sharing with third parties (except as required by law)
Creating content for other clients
Any purpose outside the scope of your service agreement
4. STORAGE AND SECURITY
STORAGE PRACTICES:
All recordings are stored in secure, encrypted cloud storage
Access is restricted to TXWS personnel only (Meredith L. McGuire McConn)
Recordings are labeled with your name and date for easy reference
Storage complies with industry-standard security practices
SECURITY MEASURES:
Encrypted transmission during upload
Password-protected storage accounts
Regular security audits and updates
Secure backup systems
Limited access protocols
5. RETENTION AND DELETION
RETENTION PERIOD:
Recordings are retained according to the following schedule:
ACTIVE CLIENTS:
Recordings kept for the duration of your service agreement
Recordings retained for 12 months after final deliverable is provided
Extended retention available upon written request
FORMER CLIENTS:
Recordings automatically deleted 12 months after project completion
Earlier deletion available upon written request
SUBSCRIPTION CLIENTS:
Recordings retained for duration of subscription plus 12 months
Recordings deleted 12 months after subscription ends
DELETION PROCESS:
You may request deletion of your recordings at any time by:

Deletion requests will be processed within 30 business days. Please note that requesting deletion before project completion may affect our ability to complete your project accurately.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
As the subject of these recordings, you have the following rights:

You may request copies of your recordings at any time
Digital copies will be provided within 14 business days of request

RIGHT TO CORRECTION:

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
INFORMAL RESOLUTION:
If you have concerns about how your recordings are being used or stored, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will work with you to resolve any issues promptly.
FORMAL COMPLAINTS:
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, you may:
File a formal complaint in writing
Request mediation
Seek legal counsel
GOVERNING LAW:
This Recording Consent & Release Form is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in Brevard County, Florida.
10. MODIFICATIONS
TXWS reserves the right to modify this Recording Consent & Release Form with 30 days' written notice to active clients.
Material changes to recording practices will require new consent.
Continued participation in recorded sessions after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

I understand that refusal to consent or revocation of consent will result in service termination
I understand my rights regarding access, correction, and deletion of recordings
I agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this document
